Vila Elasan was built in 1876, during the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was originally purchased by a diplomat who named the house after his wife — Eli — and the word San, meaning dream.

The original house stood without its now-recognisable tower. In the 1930s, the villa was expanded and refined, adding architectural elements that still define its elegant character today.

Through decades of change, the villa remained in the same family line — not converted into a hotel, not divided into apartments — but preserved as a home.

For the past 15 years, Vila Elasan has been carefully managed by PZB d.o.o., maintaining its authenticity while ensuring modern comfort for guests.
